Was raining heavily in the morning with thunders and lightnings... i thought our plan was going down the drain... praying that the rain would stop at2pm but it didn't

It was until around 4 when i met up with my dear colleague.... the rain stopped!

The 2 of us rushed to our pit to meet up with the bbq caterer to collect our food!

All in all... our plan still turn out well!

Started the fire ourself! Learnt something today..

We missed the reunion dad n his uni mates had back in KL
when Uncle Cheong n family came back from Canada...

This reminds me of the gathering or outings we have
the parents will chit chat
while the kids will think of silly games to entertain themselves
...of coz that was when we were younger
this is how we get to know each other so well
that till now at this age
we still keep in touch
even though we are far apart..
our parents r no longer the mediator for us to meet.
it has become our own initiative to arrange our own gatherings instead!!

Wednesday evening suddenly got spam by college mates...
n got to know tiger sneak in sg without informing us in advance
so plan to meet up somewhere near where he was staying...
Clarke Quay~

met up with sher huey, stella n sis
n went for our dinner at Mr. Curry
forgot the name of the dish
but remembering some doria words behind...
n it has scallops on it~!!
the smell was good but taste wise so so only

after dinner we continue our long left out gossips by the river side
while having our ice-creams..
there were so many things to catch up with
n big stories waiting to be dug up by us
which we have successfully done.
satisfied!!

Friday

met up with sis, Hong and Calvin
and went for dinner at pasta mania at bugis~
dunno for what reason we walked till there
then after dinner we decided to walk all the way to clarke quay
having in mind the river festival performance which will be held there
however when we reached the earlier performance has ended
we lingered around the area n found n there was this musical thing
with latino theme
n ppl were dancing salsa
so we stayed n watch...
makes me feel like learning the dances...

performance ended n walked back to the river side
to watch the 'Air' performance..
dun really understand the performance
n din really enjoy it coz i was blocked all the way
i am too short...
wahahahah

tmr whole day kena kick out again...
dunno what to do....
cycling at east coast park?
i dunno how to cycle!!

Ice Skating

nowadays i can just wake up early without the help of alarm clock
even its raining outside in the morning....
i still woke up at 830.

as usual..
sis n i start off with cleaning our room
ate our breakfast
n i'm off to meet my colleagues for ice skating!!

this is my second time after so long
went 2 rounds clinging to the barrier
n at last can go without it
but with funny stupid stunt
half way while i was skating
colleagues came.. hold my hands n skate together
it was so nice when u can just have somebody
hold on to u...
dun need to worry bout whether u're gonna fall or not
n she skate so fast!!! it was sooooo nice...
i hope i can skate as fast as her...

the skating ring was at kallang leisure mall
with $17.50 for 2 hours...
i think it was a bit pricey...
but i think it's the only place where u have ice-skating in singapore
n the place is rather small
if u compare it to sunway pyramid's...
n the hours u get to skate...
however it was a nice experience!

after skating went to plaza sing
bought my vacuum bag
to store my 3 bulky jacket...
hahaha..
found it very useful when my senior lend it to me
while we were packing our luggage in Wuxi...
was so worry that i can't continue
shopping in Shanghai coz the luggage
was damn packed with my bulky jackets n the 排骨.
luckily senior helped me to solve the problem..

while i was there...
went to carefour n bought 2 sushi packs back
n roast chicken rice for dinner...
the sushis are still in the fridge
n im still so full..

Wuxi 2

dinner again in 顶上牛排.
we had 3 course meal instead of the normal ala carte..

Sunday i went explore places around my hotel
by myself... while shopping on the way i din realise
that i was walking towards 南禅寺...
went in to the temple
make some prayers and
continue exploring~!

the architecture there was nice
but to my dispair the whole place was
under some restoration...
the old buildings were surrounded
by bamboo sticks...

had dinner at TGIF
which is also just at the lobby of our hotel..

Our driver mentioned that 梅花 and 桃花
are blooming during these few weeks
and it will only last for about 10 days
so he asked us not to miss it...
On sat morning senior brought me to
崇安寺 to see those flowers~
can't really resist the scene of sakura

Reach Pudong airport ard 12pm and another 2+ hours drive
finally we reached Wuxi at around 3pm.

We had our late lunch at a restaurant nearby the hotel

n there was a wedding ceromony held there..

if i'm not mistaken it's called 银鱼梗

n this corn cake!!
it was delicious... n surprisingly crispy!

later that night we had our 老北京 in KFC

I had the most rushing CNY ever celebrated this year!!

firstly after 1 whole day of tiring work I rushed back from office
make sure that everything is packed and had our dinner before going to the airport
actually i wanted to try the popeye that chin mention the other day
but she insisted that the food is not nice at all... so there goes my popeye
further more i was longing for the mamak back home..
save my space for supper since i thought it was going to be an hour's journey home
who knows... our flight was delayed...
an hour's flight turned out to be 3 hours flight!!
i din know that runways also have jams
like what we experienced on roads...
this is the first time where we find ourself spending so long on a runway
preparing to take off and hovering in the air awaiting our turn to land..
by the time we reached home it was already 4am in the morning...
my mamak gone... tandoori chicken also finished d!!!

the worse part has yet to come..
after a 4 hours rest we got up n started our journey back to penang
it was really tiring... as we dun have much rest
pity daddy have to drive all the way back.
luckily the traffic wasn't as bad as previous years
had our late lunch n went for a rest before the reunion dinner

reunion dinner with cousins...
uncle managed to book a private room with karaoke
so we had both reunion dinner and karaoke together
din imagine my uncles and dad
r good in singing too~!

next day super rush...
morning went to uncle's house bai nian
then lunch went to mum's side for their reunion buffet lunch at home
then evening cousins purposely come down from ipoh
to meet us..
jin who is back frm nz too
tried to meet during this short period of time

we went to this taiwanese restaurant to chit chat
n also to b away from our parents
so that we can talk bout things which we dun want them to know..

this new year also met with mum's friend
get in touch with long lost friend..
will try to keep in touch with them

had steamboat dinner with in aunt's house
with lamb n sliced pork dipped in sacha~!!
so xin fu... can try different types of
taiwanese food whenever i go back!!!

on our day back we were almost gonna b dumbo
waiting for our plane at the airport...
an email was sent to us indicating the chg of flight
but we didnt check until the previous day...
luckily chin checked!!

Company Trip

Just came back from company trip in Bukit Merah and it was super tiring.

In the beginning i thought it would be a boring and dry as that place is like in the middle of no where.. and we dun have a car to go around and maybe slip out of that place and go to other places.

The room there was quite terrible. We had a lousy bathroom. The drain was clocked and we couldn't flush our toilet. We ended up going to other ppl's room to do our biz.

We were served Malay food and most of it were spicy. The squid that we ate have something slimy inside. I was told that it was the squids egg.. after knowing it i dare not touch any of that. Besides the fish has super damn lot of bones.

I think this post is more of complaining. I will post something nice about the trip the next time.

Clarke Quay

We went Orchard for shopping today but din buy anything coz after converting it back to RM my heartaches...

Daddy doesn't wanna pay for my shopping anymore so what to do...

Shop till around 1 we went to Clark Quay for lunch. Most of the shops participate in their river festival thingy and have some food promotion during lunch hour.. We pick a Japanese Restaurant... TOMO IZAKAYA n its set lunch only cost us $15!!

It was quite worth it as it came with salmon and 4 pieces of sashimi.

While we were there they were preparing for a drama shooting i guess and 1 of the actor was already there.. with the crew.

This is the hotel that i stayed
throughout my outstation job..

It should be a 5 star hotel
but i guess it's because i'm there for a job
i dun feel that it's that nice..

At last i had a quite exciting job

I have done stock takes for chemicals, food and beverages in hotes, automobile glasses and
now guess wat...

I had stock take in subang airport!!!
counting the planes parts..
n also followed a senior for asset sightings..
the assets there are obviously.. planes.. n private jets..
saw 1 of "big shot's" private jet..
but we were not allowed to go in..

Next week i'm going to Langkawi!!!
my first outstation job..
very excited but somehow worried...

maybe my job is not so bad after all..

labour day

this time together with CY.
mum asked him to come along
as we were going to try out

There are so many Korean Restaurants
and shops there..

we decided to pop in any
restaurant with the most ppl in it...

This shop has 2 floors..
the upper floor is without bbq
n the ground floor is for bbq
it was crowded around 8pm
we were lucky to b there an hour earlier
so that we can choose a bigger table.
there were lots of foreigners eating there too
2 tables were Korean
and the table beside us was Japanese

Funeral

ard 4+pm on Friday i received a shocking news..
sis told me that grandpa just passed away.

that night chin managed to catch a flight back
and we went off early next day to dad's hometown

dad was ok throughout the journey
but once we reached, he broke down
so as the other brothers who were there..
it was a very sorrow moment
every time grandma relates the story on how grandpa dies..
she'll cry

one thing that i realized during the funeral was
the people in the village are very helpful
they will stay there from morn till night
just to help with everything
if not then just to hang around and chat

all the cousins stayed up till dawn for the few days
to 'take care' of grandpa
we talk n joke n scare each other
we also went mamak to buy supper
sometimes i wonder whether we were too much
but i guess grandpa will also want to see us
to be happy n carry on with our lives.

yesterday morning after having breakfast with my family i told dad i wanna go to the bank..
to check my account!

i dunno y i'm so positively sure that my salary has been credited in.. i just cash out!!
without checking how much i have in my account!!

only after that i pause n think.. what if it's not today.. it would be so embarrassing!!
but luckily after a few seconds money came out!!!

most of it are in my parents pocket now and i'm going to bring them to Carey Island for seafood! Dad says bring CY along as he knows he loves the 'tan' there..

it was a fun filled n tired day again today!!

We were supposed to gathered at my house at 1pm
but as usual.. this gang of guys r not gentlemen..
they were late for 1 and a half hour!!!

we went in sushi king for tea instead
but before that headed to McDonalds for ice-cream
poor Jia Xing were starving by then

after tea we had bowling
n went Mydin for stationary shopping..
how 'fun' was that!!
Sukhdave n Honming wanted to save
as buying stationaries back in UK n AUS
is much more expensive..

later we went to the mamak downstairs for roti canai
they claimed that it was dinner!!
i got a shock... a piece of roti canai??
that is really not enough for me!!
but the dhal there is really very nice

so from there we hopped to Taipan
our usual desert shop for desert..
Jess brought down poker cards
n we started playing bluff

It was the only game that i laugh till my stomach was aching
'discrimination' added as claimed by Sukhdave
as we gang up to prevent him to win..
he was first to have the last card.. wat to do
silly moves were also done

our last destination was Carlos.. mamak
they wanted to have a last try on the nasi lemak
that is wat i call 'dinner' at last!!
by the time we reach home its aready 12

never have I spent my day hopping from 1 place to another like that!!

we were planning for a outing to klang for quite sometime

until that day wanshin msg all of us whether we r free on this saturday..
of course!! i've been waiting for this trip for quite some time

that morning chingyong fetch me n chin to stella's house
to meet up with sherhuey suanli cheryl n chenghou
before we begin our little trip to klang
met up with wanshin at klang's toll
n she bring us the way to Bukit Tinggi Jusco

we lost our way there n
cheryl called her friend to direct the way
after that her friend brought us for lunch
go to klang of coz we have to eat their bak kut teh!!

there were 10 of us
n his friend ordered 4 pots!!
we were shocked at first
worrying whether we can finish or not
but in the end every pot was emptied!!
not surprising as it was delicious!!

we went back again to AEON shopping complex
to catch a movie..

they went back after the movie
n left chinyong chin n I
we went to shop for some stuff
n i got my handbag at last!!

we bought sushi
n went back to chingyong's house
n ordered pizza hut
while waiting for our pizza to come
we ate sushi n played mahjong!!

Before that dad drop us off in Stella's house

n we had a little chat first while waiting for Cheng Hou.

After badminton we went back to bath
n headed to pyramid to meet up with
Vern Yen, Sheng, Wui Li and Irman to catch a movie.
We were rushing n haven't eaten our lunch
and so we packed aunty anne's and McDonalds
and smuggle it into the cinema...

this is the movie that we watched. No comment.. i don't know what to say.. :)

yesterday morning my aunt called to tell me a shocking news

my cousin brother studying in Setapak was robbed and stabbed by a gang of robbers.

on his way to LRT when he came down from the taxi a gang of people gang him up.. beat him n robbed him...

that is still not enough for those heartless fools. They even stabbed him.. it hurt his lungs but luckily his life was saved.

just be cautious when any of u r around that area.. especially when u see a gang of malays

malacca Trip 1

Vern Yen and Jun Yao met at my house at around 10am n we left Subang for Malacca in Cy's car.

we went straight to his grandma's house put our luggage there, pick his cousin n headed for lunch. His grandma's house is really kampung where u have chickens and dogs and even monkeys running around free.. not to mention mosquitoes and crickets..

Beside the house they even have a river

We called Joanna when we passed the toll n she introduce us to a chicken rice ball shop in Jonker walk.. Cy's cousin become our navigator for the day.

The 2 guys went to queue for seats while me n vern yen went to shop around..
Joanna joined us a while later

after that we went to the museum and the christ church to visit..
i'm not very sure if the there r bodies buried under the church as the floor in the church looks like a memorial stone.. carved with names..

From museum we walked to St. Paul's church and the A Famosa

later in the evening we walked back to Jonker walk for cendol
their cendol is quite unique as they added the gula melaka...
vern yen was addicted to it!!

we went back to bath and bath before going out for dinner..

aunt wanted to go Ikea to shop for her stuff
so we went Ikano..

cousins wanted to meet Cy so much so
that they ask him out themselves.
so poor him have to shop with the kids n my sis
while the parents went to do their furniture shopping

after a few hours shopping n everyone got hungry
we went to any shop that we see.. superbowl
the first impression that it gives me was
a bowling alley which serves food...
but it isn't any of that

Finals Over!!!

5th Dec mark the day that i end my study life.. all the exams and stuff.. hopefully!!

so to celebrate that eventful day.. chin has arrange a dinner with Hon Ming and Jessica for dinner.
Ming fetched us from college after our exams and came home to wait for Jess then we headed to a small coffee shop to had our dinner..

after that we went to McD for a drink together with Shen Ni. Ong Loong who's supposed to come ffk us last minute but i still received his souvenir.. haha. We were planning our trip down to Malacca and it seems that the whole world now is now heading that place.. instead of Redang few years back!! So now we are waiting for Sukhdave and Belinda to come back from UK

Chingyong is also planning a small trip down there just to look for food.. and we can save quite a lot i think as accommodation and transport is provided!!!

the next day we went out for lunch with thiam in kopitiam with his friend...

n tomorrow i'm going off for my holidays!!

Royal Sporting House is having a warehouse sale
at somewhere near Sunway University College

n so here r the stuff that i have bought!

the sports shoes are super cheap
its original price was Rm229
and i bought it at 50% off

and at last..
i found a shirt with hood!!

i guess my wardrobe now is flooded with pink shirts!!

i felt super guilty that day for dragging cy along..
we waited for almost an hour to pay for our stuff..
the queue was ridiculously long on the first day
n the place was so packed...
n he was complaining that i wasted half of his day

not to go too late as the things that u want might finished
not to go during lunch hour if not u'll b sardined

n on this night.. she was super lazy..
so she decided to cook this

Campbell mushroom soup

so here's why the dinner a lazy meal..

1. the campbell soup all u need is just add a little water into it and put it to boil
2. even the sauce.. she used the preggo's can type tomato paste...
without adding in any extra ingredients (meat, tomatoes..)
3. the garlic bread requires a little more work as
u have to prepare the butter the garlic n etc
so she asked me to do..

we planned to have lunch together after audit lecture
but our plan was force to change when Sunway Group HR
decided to give a career talk n provide us with lunch!!
so instead of having lunch we went for tea
at station one Taipan which is newly open.

cheng hou lazy to drive..
so the 6 of us (me, chin, wanshin, meena, stella n chenghou)
end up in Wan Shin's car!!

although most of us seldom meet each other
but i'm still glad that we still keep in touch!
this time we couldn't ask cheryl to come along

aunt bought 100 pieces of 水饺 'shui jiao' from Penang
she says its made by a taiwanese and its' very nice!

so our dinner is this
well.. in some parts of China
people only eat that for their meal
so we follow suit..

n mum made this sauce
a combination of parsley, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and vinegar
aunt forgot to bring her 台湾醋 'taiwanese vinegar'
which she bought in Taiwan
if not it would even taste better!
i had 6 pieces and felt full after that!!
it is really delicious..
n the next 50 pieces i'll make it into gyoza!!!

last Sunday we were having a whole day P5 lecture and this is the first time we have lunch together with the other whole gang of people although there were only around 9 of us.. as part time lectures only have a handful of people..

oh ya u see that right!! its a SUNDAY.. and poor me is still having class from morning 830am till 500pm!!

i ordered my pork ball noodle and chatted with them...

the day went well until around 6 something in the evening.. my stomach felt super terrible. i went to the toilet 3 times that night and today.. twice!! luckily i din puke.. i think it would be worse if i start vomiting..

i was quite sure it was that thing.. as my sis who ordered the same noodle got it too.. her case was worse than mine!! having to go to the toilet in the middle of the night for several times!!

dad said that it would be better if we drink 'Teh-O' kosong.. so this morning after reaching college i went for a drink and stop going to the toilet after that.. i find it really effective!! well it only settle the lower problem but not the upper part.. my stomach still doesn't feel comfortable!

October.. what a month.. full of sickness!!

my Hari Raya Celebration

relatives came down and this would mean all my naughty cousins will be down here celebrating Hari Raya with us!! This will be the first time for my dear baby cousin to stay in my house!!

all she does throughout the day is climbing up and down the stairs and plays with the phone.

for the past 3 nights me n my sis have to sleep in the living room as our rooms have been taken by the 2 families.. i found out it was nice to sleep there as it is not so hot.. we can watch the tv till whatever time we want.. but the only problem with it is that.. we only got to sleep when all of them r in their rooms and we had to get up early before them!

ice-skating and swimming is a must for my cousins every time they come down. so the second day was spent in pyramid. n the third day was spent in sunway lagoon club.

n this time uncle helped us install a water filter system and from now onwards we do not have to boil the water before drinking!!! dad was kinda agreed to pay for the amount of money as he now doesnt need to trouble himself to do the chores everyday.. boiling water is part of his job... hehe

comfort in midst of suffering

it all started from dad

n now us.. me n my sisters...

practically all my family members are feeling not well

however in the midst of suffering

there are still comfort found..

mum n dad took turns to look after us at night

although both of them are not feeling well too

besides that he came to visit me!!

accompany me to watch tv for a few hours..

after his class!! i'm so happy!!

after a few attempts to ask everybody out
n this is it!! the day at last...

after fetching meena

wan shin came to our house
n fetch all of us to 1U
chin couldn't stop playing with the soft toys..

reach there met up with cheng hou n cheryl
n decided to watch movie..
there were only a few choices as
most of us have already watched
those on the list..

so in the end.

i really have no idea what was that about
until towards the middle part
all in all.. it was ok..

then we had lunch in

reminds me of Marcus..
when he pronounces the name during his lectures..
really miss attending his class..

well.. most of us here r future accountants
so all of us chose different set lunches
which i think is quite reasonable
it comes out to around RM11
with 1 drink + 1 main course + 1 soup + 1 fruit

while waiting for our food to come..
we only hear stories from Meena...
she is the 1 always talk non-stop
to entertain us!!

before they left for UK

this time we decided to make a similar gathering

a pot luck dinner~!

a handful of people

the taste is exactly like our herbal egg
but its skin.. the black part is hard!!
super hard!!
but i like!!

they say it is actually quails eggs
n have been marinated it for a very long time
so become like that wor..

on Merdeka morning..

SJBA temple was having excellent awards ceremony for those who had sat for their major exams.. my sis was one of them so we went there early in the morning

Hannah Yeoh was there too for the flag raising ceremony as there was also a small scale merdeka celebration n giving speech

well i join in the fun coz there were blessings by the monks for those who is going to sit for major examinations... although mine isn't any government examination!

that morning dad suddenly said that he wants to go Fuo Guang Shan n ask me to call Chingyong n see whether he wants to join us.. n so he meet us in SJBA n off to Jenjarum around 12!!

this time we went 抄经 again..
shorter version compared to the last time..

after that we went carey island for lunch!!!

n the food..
i like the 'tan' the most.. i dunno what's the english name
it is like lala but it is long n the shell is thin
chingyong love that dish too~

we actually ordered 5 dishes but only took a few..
coz we waited for 1 hour for the dishes to come -.-'
so everybody was hungry n they gobbled up the whole thing even before i took the pics =P

later that night we didn't have our dinner as all of us were still full
since it's the last day of pyramid having sales so dad decided to bring us there...
i bought 1 whole set of working attire including the suit... it cost me nearly rm200!!
but i still think it's worth it!!.. this is what u call initial investment >.<

got inspired by ChloeTiff with her butter cake
so we decided to bake marble cake..
it was sis suggestion by the way..

the flour, the egg n milk added with vanilla essence

beat the egg with the sugar till its fluffy..
at first i din know how fluffy is fluffy
wanted to add in the flour n the eggs
when it was juz beaten for only 5 min..
then mum came n said that normally it takes up to 20 mins!!!
whoa.. luckily we haven't add in
if not the whole thing gone!!!

we added milo n a little bit of cocoa powder
into a quarter of the batter
n

bake!!

Ipoh Trip

went to ipoh last sunday (17/8) but only post it now.

most of the time we go Ipoh we will try their dim sum.
especially Foh San's. but this time around
because it's a school holiday
n also a sunday daddy decided not to go..
as it will b crowded n everybody will b watching u
waiting for ur table..

so we went to those coffee shop instead
they too have dim sum..
n we ordered a few..
as we ordered noodles as well

results is out on monday (18/8)
so decided to visit the temple
this is wat u call.. 平时不烧香临时抱佛脚 !!

if i'm not mistaken this temple has around 100 years of history
i forgot the name of the temple but its near a park

saw these pigeons 'drinking' water while waiting for mum buying some stuff

later in the evening we came here

it is only a small tiny shop at the corner
with no proper tables n chairs for its customer..
but their tau fu fah is superb!
n not to mention their soya bean!!

due to the limited spaces they have
so this is how they take their orders
n how the customers enjoy their drink

he's taking orders from my uncle.. who is in the car
n that is our soya bean.. in the car!
no tau fu fah.. :(

i really wanted to eat their tau fu fah..
i think it came out in the star last week
only tasted it once
n the last round when i came he has finish selling

this time we tried to go earlier
but still we were considered late..
he said the person in front us took the last bowl..

after that we went to have 'nga choy kai' (bean sproud chicken rice)

we went there around 5 just to escape the dinner crowd
besides we were rushing home to watch our badminton match!
so decided to take that as dinner!
(travel from ipoh back to kl 2 hrs 30 min juz nice)

it seems this restaurant has been visited by local n overseas actors n singers
they have many pictures on their wall n i saw 品冠，梁静如 etc etc..

before going home we stop by this place to buy some biscuits

outside they have a display on stuff that ought to b used during a Chinese wedding

n lastly.. the salted chicken!!

after 1 whole semester of hard work n not to forget .. stress
our ACCA result is coming out today!!

this morning wake up normal n do everything as per normal
until i receive sms wishing me good luck..

then my nerves started tingle

me n chin agreed that we shall not mention about result
n only check it after dinner!

but around 12pm chin open her mailbox

we tried to ignore that n watched our drama series...

but not long later we receive messages asking us bout the our results
n chingyong msg me n told me his as well as others..
NONE of them have good news
this started to scare us!!

i became more panic
n decided to check right after i have my lunch!

he says that he's dropping by my house today
so decided to make this!!

wake up early in the morning to prepare
the rice n other ingredients

n i found mum's square pan!!
but it's flat..
but never mind as long as it can make tamagoyaki!!

n this is how it looks like
the best among all tamagoyakis i've done!

i bought a different packet of japanese rice
rather than the calrose rice which is way expensive
n according to its instruction i need to use
more than 1 hour to cook the rice..
i decided to cut a few steps
n it save me half of the time :P
it turn out still the same though!

Beijing Olympics wasn't a real great thing for me

till its around 8 when sis ask whether has it started?

we din have astro so cant watch the first 30mins..

n thus I've missed out these few performances

which i think its magnificent!

i love their costume..

doesn't it look like mini mountains on those chinese paintings? my own opinion

n also this..

the drum actually glows when it's beaten

obviously u guys know.. but i din watch..miss the fun part

remember this 2 scenes..

they kept it a secret till the very end only
reveal the mystery guy to lit the torch!

they wanna make everybody remembers this moment

make it an iconic one...

grooming n facial workshop

parents were members so can join!!

my second time to crystal crown hotel!!

went there registered n the workshop starts

the first session was teaching us how to do facial..

choosing the right product for ur face is very important

as it can worsen the condition of the face

the second session was the grooming part

teaching us how to choose the right hair style bla bla

but the speaker was quite popular it seems

having quite a profile..

so after coming back from the workshop i decided to try out the techniques which were taught

this is the handbook

n this is what are we supposed to do

there was a practical session then
but we couldn't see clearly.. too far!
so have to depend on this book

hope it turns out alright

by using the limited products that i have..

i experiment it on my dear sis!!!

muahahaha... revenge time!!

here are the basic daily must do steps:

1. use cleanser to cleanse ur face first

neck > chin > cheek > forehead > nose

2. wash

forehead > nose > mouth > cheek > chin

3. use scrub!!

4. toner

5. moisturiser

this time i help my sis to do mask!!

the last time she did was last week...

of coz me myself also got do!! hee

while we were in Taipan the other day...

we walk pass a shop n chin spotted sales so we went in...

while browsing through the clothes chin suddenly bring me a few dresses n ask me to try on..

its been a while that we did that.. 'trying on clothes thingy'.. so off I go to the fitting room..

the first dress wasn't that fitting n the 2nd was way too formal... CY love it though.

then came the 3rd.. not too formal not to casual.. just nice.. n it was under sales!! buy 1 free 1 or something like that.. i decided to pick that n chin choose another 1. both of us got our dress!!! it was quite a good deal as it was suppose to b rm50 for 1 piece n now both of us have ours for only Rm50!!

Dim Sum at Hoong Foong with the Cheongs!!

we met up in the morning around 10 dad suggested dim sum so after meeting up we went straight to USJ21, Hoong Foong Dim Sum

it isn't difficult to find the restaurant as u enter USJ 21, u can see rows of tables with people eating outside.. maybe only during weekends, i'm not sure bout weekdays

the rows of tables started 4 shops away from 1end
n ended another 3-4 shops away another end besides it is also crowded inside the shop itself

the dim sums.. there were more
but as usual can't stand the temptation..
eat is my 1st priority!!!

i guess it was pretty reasonable as our bill din even touch Rm100 for 10 person!
n u can even find 1 whole prawn inside their siew mai!!

actually i would rather prefer this to Hong Kei in USJ9

btw the last round i went.. the crabs were selling at Rm30/kg.. dunno whether this is reasonable..

dad's Terengganu old friend came down dad decided to arrange a dinner with them. Like usual Klang is our favorite place to go with their superb food with reasonable prices!

When we reached there uncle's daughter, E-Ling jie jie.. my childhood jie jie who is working in KL called to ask where are they..

wah!! even E-Ling know this place.. should b very famous lor.. we din know that though we have been eating there for quite a few times d.. but we know that sometimes when we go, will have to wait for tables especially during peak hours. the first time we were introduced to that place.. the host went earlier to book n ordered the food before we met.

reached there dad n mum started to order food while aunty bz asking us bout hows college bla bla bla..

everybody used to b surprised when we said that we can get a professional qualification with a degree within 3 years with less than RM40000... of coz we also put in ** to it.. by saying providing that u pass!

when our food arrives e-ling was just in time..

she wanted to order another dish.. n asked whether dad has ordered the 'o-jian' oyster fried egg... of coz dad has ordered!! our fav!! n this particular restaurant serve its o-jian with PLENTY oyster!! 2nd best after Brickfields!

besides that we also ordered the curry fish, prawn mantis, thai tofu, 1 vege, n lala.. talking bout lala.. their lala is also delicious... especially its juicy flesh n its soup. e-ling couldn't stop drinking its soup!!! wanted to take pics with my sis phone but when all the food came.. it was irresistable!!! i started to help myself to the food instead!

when i realised n wanted to take some pics its already too late.. the whole table was clearly wiped out! only left the lala shells.. -.-"

besides selling dishes like this.. they also have steamboat but we havent tried that though.. prefer to go another side of klang which has lots of steamboat restaurant at a spot.

btw the restaurant is somewhere at Tmn Berkeley.. behind the Sinma building with a prudential sign there... if any interested to go ask me!! promised to bring CY there n planning to go with Tiger

after ordering food in a restaurant in USJ 9 biz center.. i heard

" OIIIKKKKKK OOOOOIIIIIKKKKKK OOOOIIIIKKKKK" mind u its not pig sound!

then i turn over n look at 3 tables away from me... u guess wat i saw

a guy wearing a helmet holding a laptop bag was walking quickly not running to his accomplice waiting on a motorbike! the robber was so near but yet the poor guy couldn't do anything but just shout..

maybe he was too panic dunno what to do or maybe because there was a wooden divider separating the restaurant n the road.

many ppl crowd at his place after that trying to help him.. i dunno help wat but he was totally speechless n was just holding the phone and not calling anybody

i really hope that there's a car nearby who saw the incident faster knock down that motorbike... how dare they rob like that.. in a restaurant when there r so many diners around!!

actually the poor guy was also partially at fault.. it is obvious that people can easily grab the laptop away if he puts it near the divider. super easy.. i think the robber would think like this :

owner 'trapped' inside cant get out
owner playing phone!!!!! he was indeed holding his phone when all that happened!
lets do it !!!!!

in contrary if he sits near the divider it wouldn't b that easy for the robber to commit the crime!! if he wants to.. he might need to put up a fight with customers in the restaurant first before escaping!

so to all laptop carriers out there if u wanna bring your lap top out.. make sure

u're alert at all times
never put it in an easy accessible area outside!!
try disguise your laptop into something not laptop looking!
strap your laptop to your body

but if the robber insisted on it better not risk your life n give it to him!

Yean Yean's present

have been preparing yean's present since last week..

the objective was to let yean have a memorable college life all in a picture! actually i wanted to do the photo like what Sharee did for Lionel n Tiger but then it turn out like that...

i send 1 photo for hong hong to 'evaluate'.. n he says

"keep it simple will b the best n preferably dun senget-senget here n there! hahahahahaha.."

he actually type the hahahahahahahahaha super long!

as this is my first time using photoshop.. i dunno how to make the senget-senget thing disappear!!!!

then after a while he sent me andreamosaic a link to a software for downloading!!! without much thought i quickly download that software n start making the picture!

i trust his eyesight a lot wan lorr... seriously! i din even see the sample n read the instruction!!!

btw, its a software to make a mosaic.. u choose a photo as the main object and it contains thousands of smaller pictures inside... the image couldn't be seen clearly here though

we saw a similar mosaic in Sunway Pyramid at Asian Avenue and thought that it's super nice!

i personally think this is a nice present to give.. if the small pictures could b bigger!!!!

i wanna wash it bigger!! but the person said even if the photo is super big, the small small pictures will still remain small small.. if not the main object will look very blur... =(

We actually celebrated her birthday earlier together with Suiyuan on last Thursday due to the difficulty in gathering all classmates in New Paris Restaurant..

dunno whether it is call Little Paris or New! doesnt matter but the food was nice n the companion was fun too!!!

Hate-able

she slept at 3am, me too.. even later i couldn't sleep n woke up at 10am.. but she.....

she was suppose to help me do the laundry this morning since i've helped her clean up the wet kitchen (her area of charge) on Sunday n put up some netting to the grill together with daddy n mummy. her excuse for not helping was.. feeling dizzy.. need to rest! fair enough as she promised me to do the laundry TODAY! BUT...

this morning after i loaded the laundry into the big pail n ask her to come down wash it together with me.. she said i din get enough sleep.. let me sleep! summor its going to rain now!!! so instead waiting for her i ended up doing all by myself... finishing 2 loads (1 by machine, 1 by hand) and the weather was fine n sunny!!!!

besides i've even finish washing the bathroom downstairs... i made her promise me to wash our room's bathroom... i shall see whether if she'll give me more excuses this time!

in addition to that.. we still need to vacuum our room!!!!! dunno will have time for that today.. haiz!

Me bento!

due to the few classes i have this sem i really do get bored at home..
so this is wat i found out when browsing the internet for food

surprisingly bento trend isn't only found in Japan but also in
other parts of the world including UK and US
i came across a few blogs of those who r living there said that they
pack lunch to their office as they get sick of the food nearby n with limited time for lunch.

similarly.. i get sick of the food in medan n cafetaria n also orange house
so me n chin came out with our version of bento!

left : chin's bento... she cant eat egg these days coz of the infection
so replace it with pork sausage.. her sausage cost RM3 for only
that small bit!!

right : me n cy's bento.. we replace the sausage with tamagoyaki!
both ours have bbq meat n broccoli

today i found out that our audit class wasnt really that dry
Mr. Goh relates to us his experience as an internal auditor and also tell us
some juicy stories.. it manage to keep us focus throughout the lectures
n there are more to come...!!

during break Mr. Goh suddenly ask cy how was the singapore trip
n mention a few places that we went.. we were shock coz never did cy tell him about his
holiday.. later that we found out that he like miss Rozi.. reads students blog!

my P license was expired 1 month ago n till now only i renew it..
i don't drive thats y i din reallise it till now! haha.

cy fetch me n chin to pyramid after going back home. take photo. bla bla
n meet up with joshur n hon ming. Josh found out that pyramid is now
screening this movie in 3D so the last outing before honming is back to melbourne

chin n I decided not to take the bus today n follow mum to college early in the morning... it wasn't really a good idea as both of us felt so sleepy in college... n joshur msg us as early as 730am to ask whether wanna watch movie or not. where got movie this early wor.. summor ppl have class at 1130 =.='.. if got then good lor.. dun need so sien at col!! haha

after class we went to pyramid to walk around and decided to have lunch in Ajisen Ramen. Went there with hong, chin, tiger, yilian and chingyong... i never try the ramen but tiger said its nice.. and hong recommended the volcano ramen.. maybe i'll try next time.

after lunch we walk around to improve our digestion then we saw this mazda car exhibition.. we went to kacau a bit.. go sit inside n do some funny stuff.

saw Ke yang there n asked him to join the yumcha session tonight.

went back home n pig after that.

later at night joshur came early about 830 n we chat while waiting for the others to meet at my house first. Dad ask him bout the living cost in Manchester n bla bla bla.. he said that his friend who is going to work in Erns & Young there earns around 20000 pounds p.a n he din have a professional qualification... so if i were to go there i still can 'survive'.. then dad ask a question..

" Do u wanna go there?"

Of coz i want!!!

but i dun think i'll go there right after graduate. Hope Joshur hasnt leave when i decided to go..

Ke Yang reached around 940pm n surprisingly mum still recognise him.. the only time she saw him was when i had a party in form 2.. long long time ago!!

next came honming n jessica. ming went all the way out to stalk her just to make sure that she din ffk us this time! both of them r like couples always arguing non-stop! fun to have both of them there..

waited for belinda to come at around 1030pm n we went mamak!!

Throughout the holidays i din have time to think
which paper i wanna take till suiyuan asked that question

came back discuss with dad he says he said he'll try arrange a
dinner with his friend n why not ask him.. views of a potential employer would b good. Chin quickly chicken out n said that we will decide ourself (she is scared of people) but before that dad asked his friend before and he adviced us to take tax and audit..

after receiving results for my part 2 tax i've lost my confidence.
till now i din know where had i gone wrong.. its better not to take chances.

after reading wat tatt hoong posted i've also made my decision not to take finance.
my 2.4 werent good at all i know that i wouldnt understand the question if miss geetha din provide us with her worksheet. i dunno whether part 3 will b anything like 2.4

audit.. thats my first choice and i dun see any reason not to choose it..
after what Mr. Goh said it makes me relieved not to drop this paper.. is it really true tht up to certain position that employer requires P7 knowledge to get ppl promoted?

Another weekend spent during holidays at Bukit Tinggi
..... without working stress.. for dad.....

the sky was dark when we reached there

place where we check in
ru never wanna b left behind in any pics that we take.. haha
we checked the schedule for the performances there n we've missed the morning ones..

after a little rest n a bath headed to colmar tropical.. the french village entrance

a gift from France?

inside the French village... basically it consist only 2 rows of
restaurants n hotels.. their restaurants there r much more expensive than those
on ground... similar to Genting i guess...

aren't the swans lovely... Qi captured a love shape formed by
the black swans n she kept away i think.. for herself

while waiting for our dinner these quartet came
to make a performance.. they go table to table.. dad ask for a song n after that
Qi also 'kepoh' go request for a chinese song
they sang ‘甜蜜蜜’

there were a few performance by the dancers
n the last performance was done by the quartet who entertained us during dinner
went back to sleep after that.. the weather was so nice there
chin ask me to off the aircon

we cooked our own breakfast the next morning
n it rain before we went out.. so unfortunate.. but it din stop us from visiting the
japanese garden

i like the waterfall there the most... doesn't it look like those on paintings?
i dunno why that bamboo thingy sticking out to a 'well' doing there

we bought a few fish pallets to feed those fish instead of 'feeding' them stones

hope to own a mini japanese garden next time..

went to rabbit park next.. daddy said that he
rare a rabbit when he was young wonder y he doesn't allow us to have any pets

after that went to the restaurant at the foot hill for lunch
n headed back home!

Tatt hoong planned to play badminton at 3K in the afternoon. morning woke up n wash clothes if not mum will complaint everyday go out play n din help out with house work... after that only i ate my breakfast.. ended up me n chingyong were late

after that we went for late lunch at ss14 n went back home

friday

morning continue to watch my series then after lunch me, chin n dad drove down to putrajaya... dad has a meeting with the ministers in putrajaya marriot. since we have nothing to do so follow him there. we stayed there for 2 nights n the scenery was very beautiful. we dun play golf so just stayed at the room watched tv. evening we went to swim their pool is so big n nice with waterfall... they even have a huge jacuzzi. we saw many ang mos sunbathing beside the pool

saturday

after sis's piano class mum n others came to join us.. we were ss-ing the whole day n we went serdang for dinner. their cold toufu is so delicious.

before we came back we went serdang again but diff restaurant.. this time we ordered the dunno wat fish with the bones removed.. chin loved it so much as she never like fish with many bones

Monday

early morning wake up n board a bus to times square reach there 30min before our booking time to neway. there they still serve buffet but with super limited choices and without drinks. both me n joshur 'acted' a little show in front of the receptionist as they were asking for the member's ic which was supposed to be chingyong's n he wasnt there... luckily both of us were convincing enough n they let us pass..

we sang till 3pm n headed to sungei wang to find joshur's friend to pass her some things n went hanging around there till around 6. we then board another bus to china town n have our dinner there.. the dinner was fast but the chatting hold us there till 8pm. it was really fun listening to hon ming and joshur to talk bout their lives in melbourne and manchester... really hope to get a chance to study overseas.. if cant please let me have a chance to work there...

when we get back.. it was too dark so i get off from the wrong stop. instead of stopping in usj 11 i stopped at usj 5 n ended up walking much further...

the next day after finals have been booked by librarian friends to go sing k at Neway. fetch sarah after her exams n headed straight there. no more buffet served like last time.. instead they put all the salad n soup into plates n bowls n serve us. it was rather filling though... but the salad was not nice at all.. mayb for those who love onions will like it.

this time we have aik thiam, mong, sarah and yik peng.. of coz got me, my sis n chingyong! haha. Mong still left 2 years to finish his dentistry.. whereas thiam's going to graduate like us.. soon. sarah and yik peng both r waiting for 'results'.. like us just finish their exams.

went 1U with chingyong watched Kung Fu Panda... the show was funny.. haha. then go TGIF for dinner. the menu has changed.. its main course have different choices of food.. n its desert no longer have the big big ice-cream.. i forgot wats that called

after we had ordered our food only realised actually beside us r all auditors... maybe those r ppl working in KPMG.. as their office is just there.. n later we saw sze mun (maybe her twin) join them too

Sunday-14/6

follow dad to carrefour to buy ingredients for doing cornflakes cookies n went to parade to look for sport shoes but couldnt find.

reach home chin n i started making the cornflakes cookies... we din around 3 tupperwares n by night the 1st tupperware has finished!!

i also did some fried seaweeds with popiah skin after learning from cousins n grandma during CNY. i love it so much n couldnt find it in the market so forced to do it myself!

Monday-15/6

joshur suddenly msg me ask us out for lunch. 12pm he reached my house then only decide where to eat.. he brought chocolates back from UK... thank u so muchie!!

we went usj 9 ate dim sum.. n he said even our dim sum here is around the same price as those in Manchester when they have promotion.. those are buffet style n it only comes up to about 3 pounds. We chatted loads of stuff.. bout the living expenses in Uk n so on.. hope to find out more from him n sukhdave!! we even planned where to go after honming come back from Melbourne on sunday.

after hours of chatting i continued my taiwan series... 命中注定我爱你 and 美味关系 both r worth watching... especially the former.. i started sobbing after watching the 2nd ep!! whereas the latter ... i guess its about food... thats y its nice.. heeeeeeee

I've planned to go Fuo Guang Shan with chingyong before finals but then we din have time then.. so postpone till now. today we went FGS with chin n siuhong. when we reached there not long we were ask to visit 1 of their shrine.. with the sleeping Buddha in it. n once we stepped in the nun asked us whether we would like to ‘抄经’we sat down n followed wat she said n started copying the sutra. after that our writing was interpreted by the nun

'你很有耐心，也很专心... 可是缺乏了定心... 如果你有了这3 个... 做起事来就比较有效...'

morning i made sushi again with added ingredients.. i put the kimchi aunt bought from Korea n sesame chingyong bought from Japan.

on that day itself we also went puchong to have our dinner n shop for my bed!!! n yes i got a new bed! yippee~!!

dunno since when it has become a routine for us to go thean hou gong before exams n results r realeased. so went there 'bai bai'.

after that dad brought us to kepong for lunch. i dunno where is the place but when we came out from that place i realised it was very near yean's house... i remember the roundabout with the big big sign..haha

revision classes in Mc Orange

edc classes have come to an end. we went McOrange for sheila's P1 classes n i found that thr RM400 is worth the money as she revised the whole syllabus with us n we redo all the pilot n past year questions as well

took the lrt for the first 2 days n drove down on the last day. we lost our way when we came back but luckily still manage to find our way back.. n ate our dinner with hwa loong in taman megah before coming home coz family holidaying at penang.. so sad.. haiz

wanted to book the hostel in singapore before my parents went away but din manage so decided to do it before everyrooms have been book.. this would mean have to trouble cy's bro. well in the end we did it with the help of his bro.

this morning when we check the availability of seats it seems that it will b fully booked soon... so me n chin decided to go down to kl central to buy our tix first. last min planning n we were surprised when we managed to get return tix with beds for around rm 80.. save quite a lot there..

no more outings till after exam! waiting to go klang n eat!!! gambate!

back to ipoh

went back to ipoh on saturday to see my grandparents. cousin sister was rather excited bout it n have been planning to watch a movie with us. so after dinner we went to watch narnia. although some ppl said it was not so nice after watching it i felt that it was interesting but not as nice as the first.

suppose to b on sunday but grandma wants us to stay... probably coz my uncle's family wasnt at home n staying with the maid is too boring so we stayed. after breakfast i wasnt generally watching the news on sichuan for the entire day... everytime they report that a life was detected under the debris i was so happy... n when they r rescued i cried.. china n hong kong was both having live telecast charity show that night n we were all watching it n most of us drop our tears..

thumbs up to the china government, their rescue team especially those who have to walk 90km into wen chuan! the airbase army too who droped 5000 m off with insufficient oxygen n uncertain whether they will land safely due to the bad weather just to rescue those victims! not to forget those courages victims under the debris who still survive after more than 100 hrs! many teachers has sacrificed themselves in order to save students n ppl who lost their family has served the country like nothing has happened.. i really salute them!

the next day after breakfast wanted to tapao their infamous tau fu fa back but then the shop still havent open.. haiz so in the end we only come back with 'yim kuk kai', pomelo and 'heong peng'

first swimming competition

I've promised stella n sher huey that i will learn up the diving before the competition... before that i have swam in club for a few times n at last we manage to practice it in the college pool with seng kim who is a state swimmer

after mock went practice swam for 6 laps n got really tired.. then we started our diving. the first 3 times was really bad n after he corrected me for a few times i think i got it right a little as i din feel pain after i plundge n i can go deeper

this morning after seeing everybody so pro i got scared.. there are also a few who r first time like me... well.. that makes me calm down a little..

knew some Ausmat swimmers who are quite friendly n funny especially when she said 'i hate u coz u swim so fast'... haha. besides that got to know allicia (joanna's bro's gf.. complicated) n she is super fast only to know that she is also an ex-state swimmer. oh ya.. n our course junior who is also a state swimmer super leng chai!

our course got champion for every event n got everall champion for swimming!! btw i contributed 1 point.. by getting 4th placing.. hehe

after the competition called yong n knows that his team won 3 games straight in his basketball competition n qualified into quater finals. he is still playing now n wish him good luck!
